Management

Senior Management at Carolina Trust Bank has over 100 years of experience in community banking. Our bankers are dedicated to our customers and to our communities. They participate in all walks of civic, religious and cultural life in the communities we serve.

J. Michael Cline, President and CEO of the bank can trace his Lincolnton banking roots back through four generations to his great grandfather who was involved in Lincoln County banking in the first quarter of the twentieth century. Mike himself has over 30 years of banking experience beginning with a management trainee position with Northwestern Bank in 1974 through various audit, lending and management positions with several other institutions before becoming the founding President of Carolina Trust. Mike is a native of Lincolnton.

Donald J. Boyer, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has 16 years experience with banks in both North Carolina and Florida. Don has responsibility for financial reporting and regulatory filings among a number of other financial and oversight duties.

Treva J. Carey, Senior Vice President, joined the bank prior to its opening in 2000 and has over 25 years of community banking experience. She serves the bank as Human Resources Director along with overseeing branch administration responsibilities.

Richard M. Rager, Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, has over 20 years experience working in both small and large banking environments. His commercial lending background along with credit analysis experience compliment's the bank's exposure in all aspects of commercial banking.

William M. Wadsworth, Senior Vice President and Senior Lender, has responsibility for our commercial lending portfolio and business development. Mort is a local banker bringing over 20 years of banking experience to the bank.
