- In November 2009 the Federal Reserve released a final rule that limits the ability of a Financial Institution to assess an overdraft fee for paying ATM and one-time debit card transactions that overdraw a consumer’s account. In order to have overdraft privileges on your ATM/Debit Card, you must opt in on the Overdraft Protection Form.
Effective July 1, 2010 we must have your written consent in order to authorize and pay overdrafts at the ATM or for VISA debit card transactions. Please follow the link at the left for more information and how to sign up for this privilege.
